On 2nd July 2011,TEAM Salon partnered with the Singapore Women’s Association (SWA) as the Official Hair sponsors for the Miss Singapore International 2011 beauty pagaent held at the Raffles Town Club. The charity event, organised by the SWA, is a fund-raising effort to aid underprivileged children and elderly in need.
Beneficiaries include:
- The Moral Home for the Disabled, which cares for children with intellectual disabilities,
- The SWA’s key project, the Singapore VisionCare Programme, which provides public education on the prevention of blindness, eye-care, eye diseases and treatment available and delivers eye care services to the community in terms of detecting any eye disorders and improving vision and therefore quality of life.
- Lions Home for the Elders, a non-profit organisation and charity that actively promotes and employs best practices and services in elder care.
