While the service was acceptable, I cannot recommend this salon for anyone who only speaks English. I had been growing my hair to achieve the right length for layered styling but was very disappointed with the outcome.
I specifically told the stylist I didn’t want my hair cut too short — I showed him pictures. When he showed me the length he intended to cut, I asked if it would be the longest layer, to which he responded “no, will be longer in the back.” and so I agreed to proceed. However, it turned out that was the longest layer, and I found out later what he meant was that the cut would appear longer in the back, which obviously was not what I expected.
The stylist clearly struggled with English, which could be understandable but it made communication difficult and frustrating for clients. On top of that, his lack of skill in blow-drying made the experience even worse. Overall, it was a disappointing visit.
