The Asian Young Fashion Designers Contest (AYFDC) is the regional talent search that paves the way for many young fashion designers to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Contestants from five countries, China, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam join the winner and 1st runner-up from the Singapore Fashion Designers Contest (SFDC) to vie for the top prize at AYFDC. In 2007, TEAM Salon was the Official Hairstyling Team for the the event, in collaboration with VivoCity’s partnership with Singapore Fashion Week at the time.
